Celebrating God's Goodness

Celebrating God's Goodness

Jul 1

Every time I sit down to write these updates, I reflect on how profoundly good God has been to us. The opportunities He has provided for us to partner with Him in His work are truly remarkable. I am constantly humbled by the progress we are making in the country. Each month, I think we have reached our peak, and yet I am continually amazed when God surpasses our expectations in ways we hadn't imagined. I should no longer be surprised, as it says in Ephesians 3:20-21 (MSG):

"God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, His Spirit deeply and gently within us. Glory to God in the church!"

There are two main updates I would like to share with you. Firstly, we are currently in the due diligence stage to move forward with a contract to purchase a piece of land in the country for our new campus. We are calling this “The Joshua Project.” Once we finalize the contract and confirm all the details, I will provide you with a comprehensive update. May I ask for your prayers? Please pray that all the details will be meticulously handled and overseen by God. Securing the ability to purchase land in this country is a significant milestone, and it is even more miraculous that the location is only one mile from our current school and church. This proximity is crucial as our church members and children walk to these facilities.

We are enthusiastic about expanding our reach and impact. The new campus, that I believe God is calling us to build, promises to be a beacon of hope and light in this country. Along with a new church and school, we are excited to provide clean water to this part of the city for everyone. Our outreach will also include food and medical services. In a community where 98% of the population is Muslim, our goal is to extend love and assistance to everyone, regardless of their religion or background.

Lastly, I want to share an incredible achievement by our team over the past two weeks. I feel as though I’m in a dream. While I cannot go into all the details for security reasons, I am thrilled to report that two weeks ago, our team successfully freed 698 people from slavery! While we were still processing this miracle, the following week we had the opportunity to free another 732 people! In just two weeks, we freed more individuals than we did in all of 2023! This brings the total number of people we have freed to 4,329. What we have accomplished in a little over two years is nothing short of a miracle.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission with your prayers and resources. Your contributions are a blessing to people halfway across the world. These individuals are often treated like animals and forgotten, but through your support, you have become part of something much larger than yourselves. Every person we rescue from slavery is a testament to the goodness of God. Thank you for being part of this mission.

With gratitude,

Brandon - Exodus51
