Our Programs — Freedom

Freedom.

We free families from bondage, prevent others from entering slavery, and pursue legal action against human rights violations.

"Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, 'This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the wilderness.'" Exodus 5:1

Slavery in Pakistan

No person should be owned.

In Pakistan, millions of slaves — most of them Christians — live in brutal conditions in the brick kilns, born into a debt imposed before they were born. We believe no person should be owned, and we are dedicated to restoring freedom and dignity to those enslaved.

Our Progress

24,807 set free — and counting.

Every bar is thousands of people who woke up owned and went to sleep free. People freed by year:

A New Path to Freedom

One ruling. 6,157 people free.

God has opened an extraordinary new door: the Pakistani court system.

By challenging illegal bonded-labor practices in court, entire groups of families can be declared free in a single ruling. In March 2026, one landmark case freed 6,157 people at once.

None of this happens alone. We work in deep partnership with local leaders, members of parliament, the judicial system, and police — courageous public servants pursuing justice for their own people. In this ruling, freedom came to roughly $50 per person; every case is different.

The Exodus51 Freedom Model™

Sustainable freedom requires more than rescue.

It requires a structured, legally binding, and community-supported pathway to long-term restoration. The Exodus51 Freedom Model™ is a comprehensive, court-recognized, and church-integrated process designed to move families from generational bondage into sustainable freedom.

1

Identification & Verification

We begin by identifying families trapped in bonded labor through trusted local networks, church partners, and field investigation. For each family we document:

  • Total number of individuals in the household
  • Full legal names and verified ages
  • The total debt claimed by the kiln owner
  • The designated patriarch or legal representative of the family

All information is verified through in-person interviews and supporting documentation.

2

Legal Documentation & Debt Satisfaction

Our legal team drafts a legally binding purchase and release agreement that includes verification of names and ages, specification of the debt being satisfied, and legal acknowledgment of release from bonded labor. The agreement is signed by both the slave owner and our representatives.

This is not an informal agreement. It is a documented legal transaction recognized under local jurisdiction.

3

Government Registration & Legal Freedom

We take the contract to the appropriate local government office, where the debt is formally recorded as satisfied, ownership is extinguished, and each individual is registered as a free citizen. Each person is then assisted in obtaining a Pakistani National ID (CNIC) — similar to a Social Security number — establishing them as recognized citizens under the Constitution of Pakistan.

Freedom is not symbolic. It is legally recognized.

4

Stabilization — Housing & Food Security

Freedom without stability creates vulnerability. Exodus51 coordinates and funds six months of housing and six months of food support — on average, about $50 per person covers all six months. Housing is strategically selected near a local church community — and when possible, near relatives or trusted relationships — to strengthen stability.

5

Church Partnership & Community Integration

The local pastor becomes a direct partner in the restoration process, providing community integration, ongoing spiritual support, relational accountability, and help adapting to a new life.

Freedom is sustained through community.

6

Employment & Economic Reintegration

We work directly with able-bodied adults to secure employment aligned with existing skills, market opportunity, and sustainable wage potential. The goal is not temporary income — it is long-term economic independence.

7

Education Access for Children

Education is the greatest equalizer in the world. We ensure children are placed into school and given educational resources — interrupting generational slavery and creating a new trajectory for the next generation.

8

Discipleship & Life Skills Development

In partnership with local churches, we provide foundational spiritual development, financial literacy and basic life skills, and guidance on navigating systems these families have never been allowed to access.

Freedom requires formation.

9

Ongoing Monitoring & Quality Control

Our team conducts periodic and unannounced follow-ups with church partners, pastors, and freed families — ensuring families are thriving, identifying early signs of vulnerability, and continuously improving the model.

We are committed not only to rescue — but to measurable, sustainable outcomes.

Why It Works

Families don't just leave slavery. They enter a future.

The Exodus51 Freedom Model™ was pioneered to ensure that freedom holds — legally protected, economically stable, spiritually rooted, and monitored for the long haul. That is what sets the standard.

Help set the next family free.

Every $300 sets a person free — legally, permanently, and with a pathway to a whole new life. Your generosity is the difference between generational slavery and generational freedom.
